I've been wanting a Petite Blueberry Casserole, but $25 seemed too much for a purchase that's basically frivolous. Then one day I noticed the price was marked down to $19.89 for an unknown reason. The temptation was too great, and I bought one. When it arrived, it was actually larger than I expected after reading some of the reviews. (I've posted two photos of the casserole next to a soda can so you can get a better idea of the actual size.) But what I really noticed was the odd color band around the center of the casserole. The official photos indicate the center is supposed to be a lighter shade than the blueberry color on the top and bottom, but this was so light that the color could best be described as lilac. I hadn't seen a blueberry casserole in person before this, so I didn't know if it's supposed to be that color. But it doesn't look attractive at all. There was also a blemish that looked like a fingerprint pressed into the surface of the lid. I have returned the casserole for a refund. Interestingly, it wasn't eligible for a replacement -- only a refund. Now, I can't say for certain that there's a relationship between the reduced price and the reduced quality, but now I know that if something that's never been on sale is suddenly on sale, this buyer will beware.

I was mostly pleased but a little surprised when my blueberry Le Creuset mini-casserole arrived. It's as cute as a bug, totally adorable -- though I haven't figured out what I'll use it for, I just like it. However, I'd somehow assumed it would have a cast-iron core with the ceramic as an overlay, as the big le Creuset cook-pots have. BAAMP! Nope! If I'd read the description more carefully, I'd have realized this. You can even put this blueberry into the microwave, because there is NO CAST IRON inside. It's too small and funny-shaped to use on the stove, so maybe I should have realized?
I can imagine a kitchen with a row of these crocks lined up on a high shelf or whatever (the punkin, the strawberry, etc. etc.) just for cuteness' sake! So could the designers at Le Creuset, I suppose.

Got the order quick and it even had a free sample of Kratom which was great. The Klip Dagga was packed in a vacuum packed zip lock bag, very nice. The smoke was a little harsh but most other herbs are alot worse. The effects where very good though, left me feeling very relaxed and mellow. Goes great with a little Damiana leaf. Great product.

I ordered this Klip Dagga and some Wild Dagga. The Items arrived very quickly and came in a sealed airtight packages. I have to admit the Klip Dagga does seem to be much stronger than the Wild Dagga and it has a much better and smoother taste. What also surprised me was the price is about half of what I've been able to find it for at other online shops. I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth it but I'm glad i took the chance. This is my first time ordering this, so I honestly don't have anything to compare it to, but from my research, I'd have to say that this seems like a high quality product, with large petals/flowers. I have had my TwitterPeek for about 2 months now and I think that it is plenty of time for this review. I also have a Peek so first, the TwitterPeek did not come with a case like the Peek does. Not too much of a big deal, but would have been nice. The graphics are a bit better than the Peek, well I guess different than better. The software is pretty slow. It is about as slow as the original Peek software was. It scrolls slow and takes a little time to switch screens. It says that it is fast, but sorry to say, far from it. I never get my tweets in real time, I usually get them about 5-10 min from when they were tweeted and if I get a lot, which happens often, I get a message that it could not deliver all of my tweets and I need to go online to see them. Not a fun message to get when not near a computer and you are waiting for an answer from someone. If all you do is tweet then this is a nice gadget, but it really needs improvement. Since having a Peek and they have upgraded the software, I suspect that they will have software upgrades for the TwitterPeek soon as well.

FIRST OFF: Unlike at least one reviewer, I actually OWN THIS THING. I urge you to ignore people reviewing it based on the concept alone.

VERDICT: Great device for anyone who likes Twitter even a little bit, because within a week you'll love it even more. It's not very expensive, and it's addictive. It may not be worth it if you always want the brand new Twitter features, or if you already have a smartphone, but if you want *just* solid Twittering and won't pay for a smartphone and data, this thing is great. It's far more elegant than Twitter-by-SMS and a good competitor for other Twitter clients.

FULL REVIEW:

First thing I noticed was, if I don't have a Twitter account, I'm directed to [...]. This is inefficient for a device that should be able to help me register on its own, without the net.

Next, I had a validation error and had to call Peek. They were very nice, but said I had to wait until Monday. I gave them all the info they needed and then, time to wait.

Once I got the thing going, I noticed that it took a minute to get my list loaded and ready. Some things were a bit confusing, coming from the Peek Pronto, such as keyboard shortcuts. I kept trying to use 'T' to scroll to the top, and on TwitterPeek this opens a new tweet. The shortcuts are there, they're just different.

Once loaded and going, I liked the layout. It looks like an email inbox, honestly, but it works well, I think. It seems a bit slow - when I'm at my computer and get an email, by Pronto alerts me almost as fast as I see it on Gmail, but when a new Twitter post happens, TwitterPeek seems kind of behind. For example, it's 2:23pm as I write this and the thing just whistled for a 2:19 post. At first I thought it was actually having some delay. As it turns out I think it's polling about every 5 minutes. So, you'll get your average Twitter post after 2 and a half minutes, worst case 5 minutes (best case instant). Of course, this is my rough estimate based on my experience.

One thing I wasn't relying on was this: It's addictive. It's really a great device. I use Twitter tons more with it than I did with my cell phone or my Pronto and an email-to-Twitter bridge program. It's convenient. I love replying without typing the full username out. Sure, I can on the web, but not on-the-go, at least not without a smartphone I can't afford.

It also gets much better battery life than Pronto, and far less glitches seem to happen. I love Pronto, but it has bugs (server and client side). TwitterPeek seems to get less. There is currently a bug where users on your Following and Followers list are repeating, but they're fixing this server side and it's the first I've seen since I got activated.

Battery life is great, I get several days of use on a charge.

You can only have one account on the device at a time, but I never saw a reason to have more than one Twitter account anyway.

The biggest downside is this: the client-side software is firm, and we likely won't see updates more than once per quarter. This means the software is extensively tested, but it means we don't get the new features the minds behind something as dynamic as Twitter implement until much later. Examples include things as trivial as the rewording of "what are you doing?" to "what's happening" as well as things as exciting as officially-sanctioned API-based retweets. API retweets don't even show up, and there's no way to retweet from the device (except the old-style RT, which works great).

This is the newly designed "Vertical Rabbit" wine opener. I purchased The original version about 5 years ago. It worked OK, but was cumbersome and awkward to use. This new design is TERRIFIC !!!!!!

Here's what you do to open a bottle:
1. Squeeze and Rotate the supplied foil cutter to cut the top of the foil off
2. Slide the black opener over the top of the bottle with the silver handle raised
3. Grasp the opener firmly as you push the silver handle down...then pull it up again....POP....the cork (real or synthetic) is out!!!
4. Repeat (3) again to eject the cork from the opener
(NOTE: gorilla strength NOT required)

My first reaction was, "THIS CAN'T BE THAT EASY!"...but it is, because the same thing has happened over and over since then.

Finally, for storage the new design stands up on a shelf...or lies down in a drawer (unlike its bulky predecessor). The clear plastic storage case can also be used because it contains a replacement corkscrew.

This is a no-brainer must-get...Highly Recommended!!

The mechanical action for removing and ejecting the cork works well, as advertised, BUT -
It takes more effort than I had expected and
it is hard for a person with small hands, such as my wife, to get a good grip on the body while useing the lever, and
the foil cutter can be tricky with some bottles.
It is an improvement on the basic "waiter's corkscrew" I was useing, but still not the perfect answer.

I bought one of these late last year and it broke after very little use. Not the normal problem that a new screw would resolve but a much more significant failure. I sent it to Metrokane (the manufacturer)for replacement with a $10.00 bank draft as instructed under it's 10 year warranty and have got nothing in return. I have exchanged emails with their service department multiple times. They respond saying they are sending it right away and then they don't. Each time ie is a different reason/excuse. They never actually volunteer this information but instead I wait for 3 or4 weeks and send an email and that's when they come up with a excuse. This cycle has happened 3 times now and I have been waiting nearly 3 months.
Do not buy this product and do not deal with MetroKane!

I have been trying to find a cheap and easy way to fence in a few hundred feet of my property for a while. This span is in a heavily overgrown area and is barely visible during the summer. Our dog has started become curious and started exploring beyond our yard so a fence became needed. i was using welded wire fencing and chicken wire from Home depot but at $20-$30 every 50 feet, it was getting expensive. This Product works great and I am sure it will blend right in one the leaves come back onto the trees. Letting the dog roam free again is a blessing since we no longer have to worry that she will wander too far.

I used this to attempt to keep my dogs out of an area where I was trying to get some grass to grow. Long story short, they had chewed through it in multiple places in less than 24 hours. It would work fine if you are just using it for crowd control or do define a boundary, but it's pretty flimsy for keeping animals out of stuff.

I have used this set for few months now and it feels solid and well-built just as it looked when I first got it. The non-stick works surprisingly well and so far it shows no sign of deterioration. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

There are few complaints, though. As someone wrote already, the handles do get hot to the extent I cannot hold them with bare hands. And while the handles feel durable and look nice, they are hollow inside (like a cylinder), making them somewhat difficult to clean. Talking of cleaning, while the nonstick surface is a breeze to clean, the grooved bottom is rather difficult to keep clean. Also, the lids for the pots do not fit the skillets.

Except for these minor complaints, I am happy with this set.

I bought this set because its a 7 piece as I don't have a big kitchen, but unfortunately these are really bad quality, I used them few times and already been scratched although I only use wooden spoons, the handles get a bit hot, and one pot came crooked so its cover doesn't close tightly on top of it.
